Kevin Murray – Fitzroy Legend

Fitzroy legend Kevin Murray is captured here in a dynamic pose at Brunswick St Oval in 1969, the year he won the Brownlow Medal. The larger than life oil on canvas stands at 2.9 metres high, befitting Murray’s stature as a giant of the game of Australian Rules Football. If you look closely you can see the ghostly Lion over his left shoulder.
