Brisbane Hall of Fame – Brothers in Arms

This painting was commissioned by the Brisbane Lions Football Club for the inaugural Hall of Fame dinner in 2013. These three men were chosen as fitting representatives of the 3 elements that have become one. The Fitzroy football club is represented by Lions legend, 1969 Brownlow Medallist, Kevin Murray. The Brisbane Bears by 2006 Brownlow Medallist Michael Voss. The merger of these two teams created today’s Brisbane Lions. Who better to embody the unification of these clubs than Alastair Lynch. A man who played for all 3 clubs with distinction, ending up being a triple Premiership player and record goal kicker.
